Q: How can I book an appointment/sevice?

Q: Are your technicians qualified?
A: Yes all our technicians are highly experienced and qualified to at least degree level in computing

Q: How much will it cost?
A: All of our home services cost a flat rate of £30 with a discounted rate of £15 per additional service booked at the same appointment. See our services page for more details.

Q: Does the service include the cost of parts or software?
A: No, but we will search our suppliers to find the lowest priced hardware or software required and inform you of all options and the costs involved before purhcase.

Q: What if I do not want to pay for the additional parts/software to complete the repair?
A: We will return your computer unrepaired.

Q: What if my PC breaks again after you've repaired it?
A: Our repairs are guaranteed for 12 months so if the same fault occurs again within this period let us know and we'll fix it again for free. If the new fault is unrelated to the previous repair we can repair it for the standard charge.

Q: How does your service work?
A: After you contact us we will visit your home at an agreed time, we will carry out any appropriate sevices such as network or computer installation in your home while you wait or for your convenience where possible we will collect your computer and return it to you when the service is completed.

Q: How long will it take to get my PC back once you have collected it?
A: The majority of our collect and return services will be completed and returned to you the next working day. If we need to order in additional parts for a repair it may take up to a maximum of 7 working days.

Q: What if you can't fix my PC?
A: We have never encountered a PC problem we couldn't fix so if we can't identify your PC fault and offer a solution we will not charge you.

Q: Do your services cover laptops?
A: Yes our services include laptop's however we do not offer repairs on damaged screens/displays.

Q: What Area do you cover?
A: Herts PC is based in Watford and we cover anywhere in Hertfordshire or within 30 miles of Watford. If you're not sure just contact us with your postcode and we'll let you know if we can get to you. Additional charges will apply to anyone requesting a visit within the London congestion charging zone.

Q: How do I pay?
A: We currently accept payment by cash, cheque or bank transfer within 30 days of the completion of the service(s)
